At Woodmont College, your mental health is important to us!

Students’ mental health needs span a broad spectrum.  Therapy can help!  Woodmont College provides short-term individual counseling to help students with issues like stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and substance abuse.  Mental health is an important aspect in student success, and is a priority at Woodmont College.

Students can also receive help and resources for other issues beyond the current scope of Woodmont College Counseling Center.

Confidentiality: Woodmont College retains complete confidentiality regarding Counseling Sessions.  Your personal information regarding counseling sessions will not be shared with anyone outside of the counseling center.

    Rabbi Shragie Bomzer MSc has been working in mental health for nearly 15 years. After completing his Masters in clinical Sociology from the University of North Texas, he completed a post graduate training in family counseling at the Family Institute of Jerusalem. 
    Rabbi Bomzer is an empathic and attentive listener who astutely cultivates the abilities and capacities of each person he encounters. He has the ability to decipher the needs of his clients and with patience and understanding he facilitates their introspection and development. Using leading-edge modalities and interventions, including breakthroughs in neuropsychology, Shragie combines self-awareness with psychological insight to enable deep and long-lasting growth.
    Shragie is a professor of Talmud & History, leads the guidance counseling department of his collegiate institution, and maintains a private practice in psychotherapy in Jerusalem, Israel. 

    Dr. Batya Bronstein is a licensed clinical and educational psychologist (New York and Israel) specializing in therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. She has over 10 years of experience providing therapy to address a variety of challenges, including anxiety, behavioral issues, inattention, and learning difficulties. Dr. Bronstein has a specialized clinical interest in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and compulsive behaviors. She has trained in various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy). She aims to create trusting relationships by combining a warm and collaborative approach with evidence-based practices, such as cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies, to support her clients.
