Rabbi Zalmen Mindell earned his Master’s degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University and semicha from Ner Israel Rabbinical College. Rabbi Mindell grew up in Woodmere, N.Y, and has been involved in Jewish education for over 25 years. He is currently a teacher in the Shaar program of Shor Yoshuv Institute and maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Lawrence N.Y. where he lives with his wife and children.
