Eli Bamberger is a graduate of Yeshiva Shaarei Tora- Manchester and the Ponevetz Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, Israel. He is CEO of Harewood Green Group and Chair of the Board of Machon Mayim Chaim – Jewish Education Centre. He is a trained youth mentor who has worked supporting teens academically, emotionally, and socially since 2011. Eli combines his corporate experience with his dedication to Jewish youth to provide BMQ and Woodmont College with the direction and focus needed to succeed in its mission.
Rabbi Eliyahu Weisman is a graduate of Yeshivas Toras Moshe and Yeshivas Hagrama”d (Brisk) in Jerusalem. He currently serves as Rabbi of Congregation Beit Yosef in Portland, Oregon, and is a partner at the Weisman Group real estate investment firm. Rabbi Weisman’s unique dedication to Jewish continuity, Rabbinic service, and achievements in the corporate world give him the perspective and skill to lead Beis Midrash of Queens and Woodmont College in the fulfillment of its mission.
Dovid Charnowitz is a graduate of Yeshivas Toras Moshe and Yeshivas Ner Israel. He is the Founder and CEO of DC Dental, Inc., Co-President and Maggid Shuir at Mercaz Torah Utefilla in Baltimore, MD, and a member of the Talmudical Academy Board. Dovid’s experience as an entrepreneur will bring insight and ideas in Woodmont College’s mission to transform the future of professional education within the framework of the Torah.
Diana Chadi serves as Chair of the Board of Beis Midrash of Queens and Woodmont College. Diana is a licensed social worker who worked as Associate Registrar and Registrar of Yeshiva University for ten years. She is currently completing an EdD in Higher and Post-secondary Education at Teacher’s College of Columbia University. Diana brings her professional experience, educational background, and community work to the Board of BMQ and Woodmont, ensuring that the organization continues to excel as an effective university and non-profit.
Jonathan Feiner, a graduate of Yeshiva University and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University. He is the author of Mindfulness: A Jewish Approach, published by Mosaica Press, and serves as Adult Clinical Director, Achieve Behavioral Health and the Clinical Director, Rockland CBT. Dr. Feiner has offered BMQ and Woodmont College his wisdom and guidance in ensuring academic excellence since its founding, and continues to provide insight on the higher education needs of the Orthodox Jewish community he serves.
Meechal Litzenblatt is a Partner at Grant Thornton LLP, where she has worked in the areas of accounting, financial audits and compliance since 2007. She has worked in supervisory capacities and advisory roles within the company, and provides financial and business consulting to service-based clients. Meechal brings her financial background together with her experience as an Orthodox woman in the corporate world to support both the financial stability of the college as well as its mission of providing higher education to young women in the community.
Steve Sorotzkin, a graduate of Yeshivat Knesset Chizkiyahu in Israel and Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, studied law at Georgetown University and University of Baltimore School of Law. He is currently of-counsel at Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin & Gibber P.A. Baltimore USA and managing partner of ExCapsa International Tax Consulting Group LLP in London, UK, where he concentrates his practice on advising clients on international tax and estate planning. He also teaches courses in tax law at the LLM program of the Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany and is a Trustee of After School Beis, an informal education initiative serving 220 teenagers in London.
Mr. Sorotzkin brings his varied professional and communal experience to Beis Midrash of Queens and Woodmont College.
